My courses are designed to help women cultivate more mindfulness with practical skills and strategies they can use every day – no matter how busy, overwhelmed or in-demand their time is.

It can be so challenging to balance all the demands of modern living.

Self-care can often be seen as selfish. The reality is that it couldn't be further from the truth. It is becoming more and more important to learn ways to take care of ourselves and our mental and emotional health and well-being. This is the greatest gift we can give those we love and that love us.

This enables us to be present and to really enjoy the experiences and people in our lives.

From being a mother juggling the needs of others with our own to finding that work-life balance.

In these courses, I will be teaching mindfulness meditation and compassion practices as well as giving some very practical tools that can be used to surf the inevitable


A MINDFUL LIFE FOR MOTHERS

Self-care is not selfish. Learn practical ways to cultivate practices of self-care, self-love and self-compassion.

I feel passionate about providing these courses for mothers and all caregivers.  I was inspired to create this course as I saw so many of my friends and clients with children or grandchildren that were very overwhelmed and struggling with taking care of themselves amidst the chaos of family life.  I truly believe that the best thing you can do for those you love is to take care of and nurture yourself. 

In working with some of my clients and teaching them these practices I saw the impact it had on their well-being and capacity to stay present for their families without abandoning themselves.  I then decided to offer this to other caregivers that are facing similar challenges. I wanted to make it relevant and accessible. I believe the children of today are the future of our world and so it is imperative to support and give tools of self-care to those that are caring for them. 

Some of the topics that will be covered are Mindfulness meditation and compassion-based practices, Working with thoughts and emotions, simple breath work that can be used to calm yourself down or bring alertness, mindful eating, mindful movement, and loving-kindness meditations, intention setting and more. 

Learn these practical skills while building connections with a like-minded community of mothers who want to be intentional and mindful in their daily lives.

A MINDFUL LIFE FOR WOMEN IN THE WORKFORCE

I have spent a good portion of my life fully engaged in the rat race.  I was driven, ambitious and a perfectionist.  I did not know how to find balance and so this led to burnout.  It was a long journey back.  One that I am now grateful for.

I believe you can be successful in your career without forfeiting your health and well-being both mental and physical.  In this course, I will be teaching practices and tools that can help support your well-being without sacrificing your dreams and goals.  On the contrary, these practices help increase focus and calm. 

By cultivating a regular practice of self-care I have found it far more sustainable to pursue my dreams in a way that does not have a negative impact on my health, relationships and well-being. 

I have been able to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life that is aligned with my deeper values.  Cultivating deep, healthy, quality connections with others.

Self-care is not a luxury or self-indulgent.  A mindful life enables us to truly be present for all that life offers.
